General Charles A. Horner is a former Commander in Chief of the North American Aerospace Defense Command and the U.S. Space Command; and Commander of Air Force Space Command at Peterson Air Force Base. While Commander of 9th Air Force, he also managed U.S. Central Command Air Forces, in charge of all U.S. and allied air assets during operations Desert Shield and Desert Storm.

After many years of dedicated service on the Board of Directors of the Khaled bin Sultan Living Oceans Foundation, including serving as Vice Chairman, General Horner now holds the title of Honorary Board Member. In gratitude for his leadership and commitment, he remains a valued member of the Foundation’s extended leadership community, offering occasional advice and perspective while no longer serving as a voting member of the Board.
